The
recipe is
simple,
but
it has
already
achieved a level of
success:
Three meetings
focused on the economy and culture of food,
great chefs ready to reveal their secrets,
Italy’s best food and wines, tastings
featuring the newest innovations in flavor
accompanied by the finest Italian wines. For
three days, (October 1-3, 2005), San Patrignano
will host food and wine enthusiasts, specialists,
and restaurateurs.
This
recipe
was conceived and realized at San Patrignano,
Europe’s largest ceter for the treatment
of drug addiction. This community has the
goal of not only helping addicts find the
road to recovery, but also of providing the
skills training which is crucial for reintegration
into society. The food and wine industry offers
myriad opportunities for career development.
The recipe
this year has
a new ingredient: the presentation of new
and innovative projects tied to the themes
of food, wine and solidarity. The goal is
to create a worldwide web of production which
places and importance on product quality and
excellence, guaranteeing consumer rights.
Another important goal is to ensure just profit
margin for everyone, including farmers and
breeders from the third world.
